Spore Galactic Adventures Expansion Is Official!

Kotaku reported that Maxis has extended an invitation for an event in San Fransisco to reveal more information of the upcoming expansion pack.

Amazon and other stores have dated the expansion pack for a March release. Not much is known about the details for this expansion pack. Maxis has hinted at features that will allow Spore player to create their own space missions to be shared with others.

Spore has been severely criticised for a lack of depth in all the stages in the game. Maxis has responded by saying that expansion packs like Galactic Adventures will add more depth to the game and eventually expanding out the Spore Universe.

Looking at their track record with the Sims, I have no doubt they will have many expansions in mind.
