Red Alert 3 is getting an expansion pack that is is planned to be released this March. The expansion pack called Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising, continues the storyline with the Soviets defeated. Kotaku highligted a EALA dev statement on the expansion pack:
“Uprising is a game that in many ways reflects the feedback we have gotten from the Command & Conquer community,” said Amer Ajami, Senior Producer at EA Los Angeles. “We’re giving gamers more of what they want – more of the fast, fluid and fun gameplay, more of the story we began to tell in Red Alert 3 and more cutscenes featuring top-notch Hollywood talent.
The expansion pack will be a standalone pack that wont require the Red Alert 3. EA states that they plan to distribute this game through digital download. EA has also promised new holywood faces in the cutscenes for the expansion.
