After returning as a changed man from his space trip. Richard Garriot quit NCsoft and his last endeavour, Tabula Rasa. Wired now reports that Richard wants to return to what he did in the beginning. Making fantasy themed MMO's. Richard was quoted by Wired as saying:
"After 25 years at Origin, the last thing I wanted to make was yet another medieval fantasy game," Garriott said. "Now, after a very interesting break, I'm keen to get back into the fray and work on a new game. Probably medieval fantasy and probably online; there's something very powerful about getting people together."
Well I sincerely hope that he goes back to what he loves doing and be successful at it. As someone who was instrumental in the development of MMO's as we know it today, I think he deserve a game that finally lives up to his name. Go Richard!
