Stardock released a statement that Entrenchment, the micro expansion to the epic Sins of A Solar Empire, has been delayed to February 25th. Entrenchment was supposed to be released end of last year was pushed back to February 11th. With the new delay, Stardock CEO said:
"We want fans to get the most of this expansion and are making sure we're delivering the best content possible."
bigdownload reported that:
Stardock said the delay was to "allow for Ironclad's development team to incorporate feedback to date and allow for another round of beta testing."
Iron Clad(developers of Sins) just recently released Entrenchment 2.5 beta that took a lot from feedback from the first beta and made some major balance changes for the better. The game looks amazing now with higher detailed textures and runs better with memory optimisation code.
The micro expansion is part of 3 different mini expasions with entrenchment focusing on defensive technology, the next micro expansion on diplomacy, and the final micro expansion something Iron Clad is very excited but keeping it a secret for now. You can pre order Entrenchment for only USD$9.95 on Impulse and join in on the beta.
Great to see developers that actually listen to fan feedback and work so tirelessly on improving a great game.
Read my previous impression of beta 1.0
