Dragon Age Origins Releasing Second Half of The Year

IGN reports that Dragon Age Origins has been delayed to the second half of 2009. Personally I don't remember Bioware ever announcing a release date for the game(Q1 was just pure speculation by the press). The IGN report stated that the release date was pushed back to "coincide with the console release of the game". And I quote:

Dr. Ray Muzyka, General Manager and CEO of BioWare and GM and VP of Electronic Arts commented, "Dragon Age: Origins is shaping up to be quite amazing in its level of quality and polish. I'm really proud of our team, who are working very hard to make Dragon Age: Origins the biggest and most exciting BioWare game yet, and we will work to ensure it not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of our loyal audience of fans."

The much anticipated PC RPG game has a lot of expectation hanging on its shoulder. Will it bring back the glory days of CRPG's? We will have to wait at least till October - December 2009 to find out.
