VE3D posted an announcement of a new strategy game exclusive for the PS3. Undersiege for the PS3 is being developed by Seed Studios, a relatively unknown Portuguese studio. The community manager posted two pre alpha build screenshots in the first entry of the games developer diary . Screenshot below:
Under Siege features an original world, unique gameplay elements and a control scheme designed with a console controller in mind. We are also working on implementing a large number of multiplayer and community features with special emphasis on user generated content.
In the coming months we will share with you info on many of these features, as well as the work involved in creating them. Feel free to comment and give feedback along the way.
It is unclear exactly how the gameplay will be but the screens look visually impressive. Release date is stated as coming in 2009(I won't hold my breathe for this, they are just in pre alpha).
