Gametrailers uploaded a video walkthrough recorded from Comic Con. The walkthrough was given by Product Manager Kevin O'Leary and demonstrated the PvP aspect of the game. BattleForge is an RTS game that has minimal base building and card mechanics. You summon units and spell from your card deck. Building and units summon very fast and there is very little down time.
A round seems to move really fast and the game looks like a very straight forward and simple RTS. There doesn't seem to be as much depth as say A Starcraft. EA is perhaps not aiming it to be a deep strategy game I suppose. The game is dated for 24th March. Video below:
