F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin reviews are in and it sounds like a dissapointment. Most reviews state that F.E.A.R 2 doesn't really reinvent the formula and in a time where games like Crysis, Farcry 2, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare has improved on the FPS formula, F.E.A.R 2 doesn't. My fear(pardon the pun) about the AI was right as the IGN reviewer noted that the environments never really gave the chance for the AI to shine.
F.E.A.R is a good shooter but it isn't a classic like the first one. Yes it does improve certain things from the first game(diverse environements) but many reviewers felt it didn't do enough to make it feel stale to the rest of the genre. Final say, F.E.A.R 2 is 'competent'.
