This weeks indie game is Walkie Tonky by Pieces Interactive. It is a 2D physics based game that requires you to control a giant robot.
Using your mouse to grab and kick objects, you have to get pass obstacles(like tall buildings) in your way. Using the arrow keys you can also grow your robot to allow it to walk past rubble.
By leaning forward, you can throw the objects you pick furthers. This is important since you will come across tanks, jets and choppers that obviously are not so friendly(since you are destroying their city).
Walkie Tonky looks like a polished flash game with a minimalist aesthetic and sharp geometry. It looks like a web comic with black tall skyscrapers and jets flying overhead you. It's easy to pick up and play but surprisingly addictive.
