Free To Play Titles Officially Arrive On Steam

There's always been free to play games on Steam. Global Agenda was available for quite a while. Today, Valve unveiled a whole new section on Steam for Free To Play games. Since making Team Fortress 2 their micro transaction experiment, Valve has had the back bone for the free to play model to thrive on Steam. They currently have three games on offer; Champions Online, Spiral Knights, and Global Agenda Free Agent. Ijji.com has also announced they'll be bringing then Unreal Engine 3 powered FPS, A.V.A. Good thing that... their own platform is a bloody mess. You can read my experience of playing Genesis AD here. Steam has again beaten the rest of the digital platforms to the punch. GFW Live, I'm afraid you are too late... again.
