Crysis 2 Decimation Map Pack Trailer - New Map Pack But Game Is No Longer On Steam Now

I find it rather odd that a publisher has removed a game, originally available on Steam off of Steam. A lot of people suspect that EA are moving into making their huge hit titles as Origin exclusive. Origin being the EA downloader rebranded as their own digital download service. PC Gamer wrote that EA clarified that the removal of Crysis 2 on Steam was not their decision and was Cryktek’s one. They said Steam has imposed certain business terms that forced Crysis 2 to be removed from Steam. I’m not sure what to think of it. I do not know what these new business terms are but for now, Battlefield 3 and even the recently(just today) released Alice: Madness Returns is not on Steam. Anyway, sound off in the comments what you think about this. Oh yeah, new map pack for Crysis 2 released called Decimation(USD$10). It adds 5 new maps. Check out the trailer below…

  2. Yeah. I'd hate that though. Even though I know that a monopoly ain't good, I wouldn't want to run a million different clients in the background.

To be fair I think GamersGate is pretty good competition for Steam.
