THQ announced(actually it was more like confirmed) a sequel to the 2010 post apocalyptic FPS, Metro 2033. The sequel titled ‘Metro Last Light’(it was originally supposed to me called Metro 2034), will be receiving first class marketing campaign according to THQ, based on sales of the first. Metro 2033 was a FPS based off a Russian novel of the same name that featured a post apocalyptic world where Metro station acted as civilization last hub of safe haven. The game featured a unique economy system that used ammo as a currency. We got tipped off Metro Last Light when THQ registered for the web dowmain www.metrolastlight.com (the site is not up yet) last month. No release date has been announced.
