Following the first proper trailer for Dead Island, Gametrailers.com has posted an exclusive gameplay video spanning a good 11 minutes of zombie killing. The video also has some some commentary by Vincent Kummel(from Deep Silver, the publisher for this game). Looks like a first person shooter, mixed with Dead Rising's crafting your weapons.
