GoG.com has released the updates promised in their livee press conference for the digital distribution platform. You can now receive and send messages to other folks on GoG.com(still doesn’t require any client, all the features are available on their website). There’s also a new downloader app which is optional but recommended for big games(namely The Witcher and The Witcher 2 which are coming soon this month). The new downloader has a bunch of performance improvements which take advantage of new CPU fancy shmancy multi threading and finally allows you to pause and resume your downloads. To download the downloader, you need to go to your account page and click on any game you own. They will give you an option to download the downloader. As a show of gratitude to their loyal fans, GoG has also released Dragonsphere, a Micropose classic point and click adventure game, free for all GoG users.
