News From CD Projekt Press Conference - The Witcher 2 And GoG.com News
If you missed the live press conference, never fear, I have summarised the biggest news from that press conference here. Firstly on The Witcher 2, CD Projekt announced it will have Securerom but only as a date check to avoid people from leaking it before launch. The GoG.com version will be DRM free. Gog.com will have The Witcher 2 pre download available on May 10th(so that you can immediate start to play the game on the 16th release day) and will be putting The Witcher Enhanced Edition(on gog.com) on a massive 50% discount(USD$4.99) on May 10th to May 24th.
On Gog.com, they will be adding the Alone in The Dark series in their catalogue of classic games(which is available right now). They also gave a sneak peak of site improvements that are to come in Spring 2011, the big one includes a instant message system on the site. The talked up the possibility of getting 2 major publishers in the next quarter. Here’s to hoping they can get EA to agree on Dungeon Keeper.
