Age of Empires Online is currently in closed beta(it’s a free to play RTS that combines some stuff from social games as well as more persistent MMO stuff). Thankfully I’ve been able to grab a beta key for myself and will be jumping in on this. Gas Powered Games has put out part 3 of their AoE developer diary. In this video, they go through this new game mode call Defense of Crete. It’s a tower defense mode. There’s coop too and it looks like total mayhem.
