UPDATE: Aperture Science Computer Needs Rebooting - The Challenge Has Started

UPDATE: The site has redirected to this site. It looks like to get Portal 2 to be released early, you'll need to play any of the potato sack games. I think once the number of people playing(for a longer period of time) those games reach the challenge status number(this number changes),  they should unlock the game...hopefully. Again remember, my guess is the longer you play these games, the better the chances are. I'll update this post if I get more accurate info on this challenge. Help boot the computer!

Based on speculation from hidden message found from the ARG stuff Valve has been sending out, some people have deduced one of the messages hinting that the 15th(of course we Malaysians live in the future, it’s already the 15th here) might be the actual release date of Portal 2(instead of the official 19th). A countdown on the Aperture Science webpage, has another 3 hours left, which counts to midnight. I wonder if Portal 2 unlocks tonight or it’s a hint to something else. The final line of the message on the site reads “The time is near, humans. But it is not here yet. Tomorrow you will be given the final test. Then it will be entirely in your hands when I am freed”. Does this mean the game will be released midnight or we will be given another ‘test’ to decide when the game will be released? The bit with ‘when I’ll be freed’ seems to hint that it will not actually be the release of the game but another ‘test’ or something. Anyway, we’ll have to wait and see.
