Creative Assembly’s Kieran Brigden gives us the lowdown on the multiplayer portion of the upcoming Total War: Shogun 2. CA are for the first time putting a lot of resource into building a proper multiplayer portion. They’ll be clan support, leaderboards, clan ladder, and even your own persistent online daimyo. Giving your avatar pink armour has never been more tempting. I’m a little disappointed that the online campaign map bit they showed was not persistent and you didn’t share it(the progress of this campaign) with other players. What this means is that it’s just a shell for you multiplayer battles with others. Shogun 2 will be out real soon on March 15th. Watch the new multiplayer walkthrough video below…
