Men of War: Assault Squad Will Get New Skirmish Maps/Map Packs As DLC
You might have noticed the DLC button in the main menu of Men of War: Assault Squad. Digital Mindsoft’s Chris Kramer explained to Rock Paper Shotgun that they are planning on releasing new skirmish maps and other multiplayer maps as DLC. Any new features, units or updates will be free. “My personal belief is that everyone will benefit from a better game, so instead of selling new units, or new features or factions, we are going to sell new skirmishes and multiplayer map packs, but give away all the other content that is produced during that period for free” he said. That’s a good choice as it won’t split the multiplayer community that much as everyone has access to the games units and factions. In case you haven’t read our review of Men of War: Assault Squad, you can read it here. It’s an excellent multiplayer RTS game.
