Paradox Interactive’s Crusader Kings II is not due out this year(slated for 2011) but they’ve released a short teaser trailer that shows some in game footage of the game(note: it’s very early in development). Watch as they scroll through gorgeous 3D maps and view a multitude of information screens. Well okay, a trailer is never going to sell a Paradox game so let me give you a brief description of what Crusader Kings II is. It’s a medieval grand strategy game where you control a dynasty. From heirs, your lineage, the royal marriages with other nations and your lieges. Crusader Kings has always been about all the characters of the royal family throughout Europe and managing them(similar to what they did with EU: Rome).
