Bytejacker The Game Out Now - Zombie Butt Kickin’
Hell, it’s about time! It’s been a while, but it’s finally here. The Bytejacker video game has gone live. For those that have no idea what Bytejacker is, it’s an indie game internet show on Revision 3. The fan made(Raymond Teo and his development studio secretbase) flash game, titled Bitejacker, features the shows host Anthony Carboni and former show camera guy Jon Riveara. You play as either of them and try to survive the zombie apocalypse.
The game features the awesomeness from the show with voice overs from Anthony. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be much voice over stuff from Jon. Bitejacker is freaking difficult. Or as Anthony normally calls it, it’s a baby puncher. You’ll have to make your way to the exit with waves of never ending zombies coming at you. Your cameraman is with you the whole time and you’ll need to defend him. He doesn’t do anything other than recording the zombie apocalypse on his camera. And yes, friendly fire is on.
You’ll come across other survivors as well to rescue and if you managed to get these people(and cameraman) to the exit you get bonus cash. You can also search for stuff in objects littered around the levels(searchable objects have a certain shininess). You will find weapons, ammo, health pick up and cash in them so they can be pretty helpful for your survival. Trouble is, it takes time searching these and the zombies will keep coming.
Once you’ve reached the exit, you can buy upgrades and new weapons from the shop. Which really gives you an big incentive to save survivors and search the levels for loot. The game also has a real world money store(called the mochi store) that allows you to unlock modes and special items and stuff like that. But I promise, you can play the normal mode absolutely free. Check it out for yourselves, there’s lots of cameos from other indie game characters. High production values, cool audio and lots of content.
