Atom Zombie Smasher Demo Out Now

I like Blendo Games games. They are wacky and have an odd sense of humour. Atom Zombie Smasher is the third game by Blendo Games which is technically a tower defence game that has you evacuating survivors in cities from zombi…erm I mean zed, whatever those are. The demo is available now and you can get it here. It’s quite good, like all his previous games.

Zed invasions are bad for business

Instead of building towers, you place landing spots for your evac chopper to come in and get as many survivors out. You’ll have to survey the city to find the most concentration of survivors and a relatively safe spot for your evac chopper to pick them up. If the zeds get to the evac chopper he lifts off as the evac zone has gone hot. You’ll have to find a new spot.

Your evac chopper has limited space!

As you progress through the different missions, you unlock new mercenary teams that help you defend the survivors and clear out the zed horde(or try). You’ll also be able to upgrade your evac chopper and your mercenary units. It’s easy to get into and is hellishly addictive. It has a certain… Pop Cap factor.

Successful missions = stuff to upgrade

Like Blendo Games previous efforts, Atom Zombie Smasher features procedurally generated cities. You’ll never be faced with the same city. To top it all of, it has coop! Play with up to 3 of your friends and help out the survivors. Atom Zombie Smasher is an amazingly addictive and quirky title. Plus it has surf music, you can’t go wrong with a game that has good music.
