With Game of Thrones is storming the telly on HBO, the George RR Martin’s novel will be getting a RTS game adaption(as I have announced). The official site for the A Game of Thrones Genesis is now up and sheds some detail. Well mostly on the world and factions involved. Information on the game mechanics remain illusive and they’ve not hinted at it. Looking at the screenshots, it looks like the Cossacks Napoleonic War game(perhaps I’m the only person that remembers this game). It was an RTS game where you had the usual resource mining(and there were a tonne of different resources in that game). There were road network that you used to travel faster around the map. Again, not sure if this one will be like that. Screenshots below…
