Epic's big honcho Mike Capps revealed that they are working on 5 new projects not related to Gears of War. He said in a talk at GamesCom "It’s nice to target the PC as a primary platform again, not just for ports.". Awesome! Now if only that Samaritan demo was one of the projects being worked on. In a closed door demo, Epic demonstrated that the Samaritan demo was an interactive piece, you can move around in the city(one step closer to actually being a game). He was understandably tight lipped about the projects, but considering the fact that Gears of War started out as a demo, perhaps.... just perhaps we could see the Samaritan turned into a real Epic Games hero in his own game.
