Ubisoft has stated on the official forums that they will be releasing a patch for From Dust to remove the always online DRM that they said wasn't going to be included with the game. Glad they decided to do this... now can you please add graphics and control customisation to your game? The patch is slated to be out in two weeks time. So yeah... you'll just have to wait.

While some may forgive Ubisoft if the patch gives what they want, some will never forgive and forget, cause what they did is just dickish, even for me who is quite lenient on all the DRMs I experienced.
ReplyDeleteIt's more than the DRM however. The DRM business was just bad since what we got was what not they said in a press release. But the poor PC port...terrible controls...could have been soooo much better
