And it will likely be DOTA 2. It makes sense considering the popularity of the genre in Germany. According to PC Gamer, they’ve spotted that Valve is listed as being in the strategy genre(in the list of exhibitors). A genre that Valve is relatively new in. It has been quiet on the DOTA 2 front, but I suspect we wont have much longer to wait for new info. Gamescom 2011 takes place in Cologne, Germany on the 17th and 18th of next month(August). If my predictions are correct, DOTA 2 is the free to play game that Valve has admitted to be working on. Oh well… we’ll hear about it next month.
