Everybody loves tanks! Which is why Cliff Harris, one man show from Positech Games announced his next title will be called Gratuitious Tank Battles. A spin off from his last entry, Gratuitous Space Battles, GTB will see the action back on earth, on the ground. Makes sense since tanks can't take off into space. But with the new setting, factors such as line of sight and obstacles make an appearance into the game. Cliff Harris on his blog has stated that GTB will make weapon load outs less confusing(no tank class specific weapon other than weight). It's more tower defence than a a land version of GSB. You'll need to defend as well as attack in GTB. Sounds cool and I'd certainly keep an eye out for this one. Planned for Q4 2011 release.
