EA CFO, Eric Brown stated at a Lanzard Capital Markets Technology And Media Day presentation that “over one million, closer to 1.5 million" people opted-in to be notified of a coming open beta test for the BioWare Austin-created game.” Gamasutra reported that he said this showed the interest level in the Bioware MMORPG. No information about when the beta will begin. Star Wars The Old Republic according to Brown, wont be released in the first fiscal quarter(which is April to June). Which correlates with my estimate, which is Q3 2011. I haven’t signed up for the beta. Maybe I would later on, but still, I highly doubt there will be a proper server for this region.
