ArrowHead Game Studios are a really funny bunch of lads if you haven’t figured that out by now. TotalBiscuit, the cynical brit, did a Magicka commentary with them on his YouTube channel(which is worthy of a subscription if you haven’t yet imho). The game is chockfull of pop culture references.
