Something many South East Asian gamers have been complaining about is about to be rectified by Blizzard. Production Director Chris Sigaty in a developer update stated that cross-region play, multiplayer resume from replay, as well as clan/group functionality will be added to StarCraft II at "around the launch of StarCraft II: Heart of The Swarm". Don't ask when this is... probably in 2034. Seriously though, they haven't announced any release date for Heart of The Swarm other than a vague 2012 release date. There's still no LAN play support though. It's good to see them continually improving the back end features for StarCraft II.
