Victoria II: A House Divided Announced!


Paradox announced that Victoria II is getting an expansion. That's hardly a surprise though, I've been expecting this since the game hasn't had a single expansion since release(and Paradox releases expansions pretty often). Victoria II: A House Divided like any Paradox expansion, further refines the game and adds new systems that is bound to excite any grognard. It's due out Q1 2012. NEW YORK - October 4, 2011 - Paradox Interactive have today announced the first expansion for their internally developed Grand Strategy title Victoria II focusing on the American Civil War era, Victoria II: A House Dividedset to release in Q1 2012.

From the development team behind Hearts of Iron and Europa UniversalisVictoria II: A House Divided introduces a new starting point in 1861 allowing players to experience the US Civil War from the start, from the era of absolute monarchies, encompassing expansion and colonization, culminating in the emergence of the US as a global superpower at the dawn of the 20th century.
