UPDATE: Crytek has stated to VG247 that the requirements posted on the German Crysis 2 Facebook page is not official and unfinalised. They will update us if they've got the final set of requirements.
VG247 has decoded the Crysis 2 minimum requirement which was posted on the Crysis 2 Facebook page in Deutsch. Actually it was translated by Geforce.com. The requirements seem quite reasonable. An NVIDIA 8800GT 512MB card which many newer cards have surpassed(in terms of performance). I’ll update this post if the recommended specs gets posted. Crysis 2 releases on March 22nd. Minimum requirements below…
- Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2GHz or better
- Nvidia 8800 GT or higher
- 2 GB RAM
- Windows XP/Vista/7
- 9 GB free hard disk space
- Internet connection
Looks like the console leap has certainly made it less steep. I hope they make a 64bit executable to make use of 4GB RAM.
