EA announced a new Battlefield game called Battlefield Play4Free. Ermm, that's such an uncreative title, seriously EA. I guessed it was going to be an MMOFPS, and it turns out I was wrong. Perhaps that is a bit too ambitious for the EA team in charge of this Battlefield game. The team behind this game are the Battlefield Heroes development team and this looks like them trying to get it right this time. Teaser trailer after the jump...
They are accepting sign ups for beta at the official site here. It looks like this is Battlefield 2 but made free to play with possibly micro transactions. But what's this?! Still only 32 player? I thought BF2 supported 64? Sigh.
