So what's the difference between battleships and warships? I suppose battleships are restricted to ships like heavy cruisers, used to bombard and attack other ships. Warships are just about any ship used in a war, except... I'm pretty sure NOT supply ship... that would make for a boring game(but certain no lack of tension). World of Warships will feature aircraft carriers, battleships, heavy cruiser, light destroyer and many more ships of war that can make strategic and tactical moves in the sea of battle including sudden strikes from cover, cunning flanking attacks or open head-to-head encounters. Wargaming.net plans to unify World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and World of Warships into a single gigantic global battlemap with a common currency and resources that is transferable across all three titles.
