DICE Senior Environmental Artist, Andrew Hamilton details how they are going a step further with the Armored Kill DLC. They aren't just making new maps with the same old detail but upping the level of detail and texture resolution on them. You can read the blog post where he details the level of detail on the Alborz Mountain map(one of the maps in the Armored Kill DLC). They also released a flythrough video of the map.... just the detail of the environment. You can imagine guys running around and tanks blasting away.
