Kosong sen is a new article series where I’ll cover a game that is freely available either a flash game or a free downloadable game every week. Since indy gaming is now a very healthy category of the industry, there are now much better quality free games for gamers. Kosong Sen will be a weekly series that for now will be up every Saturdays. Todays game...Mirror's Edge 2D Beta.
Today we will start with Mirror's Edge 2D Beta a free flash game by Bourne games. The 2D platformer is a faithful (no pun intended) recreation of DICE’s Mirror’s Edge right down to the music(although it has been given a slight midi twist). The game feels just like how you would think a 2D Mirror’s Edge would control like. You can do the same moves just like in the real Mirror’s Edge
Doing it in 2D doesn’t make it easier. It is still quite a challenge. Thankfully there doesn’t seem to be any combat sequences in sight. The game is still in Beta so it’s not done yet. I will be relishing to play the full version when it is available. If you like 2D platformers, this one’s really good.
