DICE announced on the official Battlelog Blog(so you know this is official) that they'll be having a double XP weekend this coming weekend on June 16th and 17th. Had plans for a social life? Maybe a movie? Meeting up a friend? Well cancel them all! Stay home and play video games... Battlefield 3 in particular! Because it's double XP for all formats(all including PC), all servers, all game modes. This is to celebrate the launch of the Close Quarters DLC. Go forth and rank up soldiers!
