Arrowhead Games, the lads that brought us the incredibly awesome co-op wizardry in the form of Magicka, announced at GDC that their new game is called The Showdown Effect. It's an old school 2.5D shooter. Since Arrowhead is infamous now for allowing you to kill your team mates, it is understandable they want to maintain that. The Shadow Effect will feature a more customisable game where you can build levels etc. And then... you can blow your friends to pieces. Looks very promising. That HAVE TO sneak in a wizard in this game. Debut trailer below...
