The darling of indy gaming, Braid is finally getting a PC release. Braid was released with near perfect reviews from the enthusiast press this year as an X360 downloadable game. The game features a 2D platforming gameplay together with time manipulation element that makes each level a puzzle.
It was also widely acclaimed for having a very interesting story line that touched many people.Jonathan Blow the developer who made Braid wrote on his blog :
I had originally announced the release date for the end of 2008, but for various reasons, this hasn’t happened. Once we slipped into mid-October and all the big Christmas-season blockbusters started coming out, it just seemed like a bad idea to schedule Braid for that time period, as it seems likely it’d get released and then disappear.
Blow plans to release the game to the PC audience by Q1 2009. He is also considering a Mac version. There are no hints on what digital distribution platform it might be on.
